Swedish designer Anna Ehrner really went the whole way with this utterly stylish 1972 lamp for equally Swedish firm ateljé Lyktan. Was it legendary ceo and chief designer Anders Pehrson or Mrs Ehrner herself who decided to give the lamp her very own name — Anna? At any rate, doubtless it was a seal of approval from them both. No desk can go wrong to offer a little room for this impressive piece of lighting engineering, and the mild light from under the lovely patinated deep brown of the leather shade, softly reflected by the heavy brass base will for sure help make both work and play very pleasant for many years to come.

All of our pieces are original, well travelled in time and space, sometimes from hand to hand more than once. As we find the ensuing patina part of the charm, we strive to bring the objects back to a new cycle of use as gently as possible making only minor, non intrusive alterations such as for instance replacing electric components where needed in lighting, or reupholstering a chair when the fabric is too frayed but the underlying structure beautiful.
